Selecting A Sprayer Based On The Application
Liquid chemical solutions need sprayers for application. This task is important as it requires delivering an often caustic solution which poses potential for leaks at any seal joint when incompatible sprayers are selected. What is initially thought of as a short term cost savings turns into a tool that doesn’t perform tasks to completion, performs horribly and potentially harms the operator. These all result in a higher cost of doing business!
Consider the sprayer just as you consider the chemical solution.

Trying to choose a sprayer for Tryclopyr/ Diesel mix for Buckthorn control. Using your chart it appears EPDM seals are needed? I can not find your backpack sprayers with this seal. Which sprayer do I need? I have a model 425 that I have used with both water based glyphosate and Garlon 4 and it seems to work well.
Although we hear of customers using these types of mixes in Solo sprayers, Solo never recommends the use of any types of flammables in our sprayers. Many Thanks!
