Product listed for bleach. Listing says not for alkaline solution, only for acid?

Product listed for bleach. Listing says not for alkaline solution, only for acid? Bleach has a pH value of around 12 or 13. The pH scale is used as a measure of the acidity or basicity of solutions in which the solvent is water. Solutions with a pH value of 7 or less are acidic. This listing says rated for pH 1-7? Is that a mistake?

Reply from Solo Incorporated:
Thank you for pointing out our error. You are correct in that straight bleach has a pH value of 12. We have removed that entry regarding the pH completely as this sprayer, as well as our other Solo sprayers equipped with Viton or Tivilon seals were designed for spraying bleach solutions, not straight bleach. The Viton seals in our Solo sprayers are very resistant to most chemicals, including bleach. Any of our sprayers with Viton seals would be a great choice when using bleach solutions for outdoor cleaning, and indoor sanitizing or disinfecting. For outdoor use such as getting rid of algae or mold on vinyl siding, driveways, foundations, etc, our testing has shown that a 1 to 4 bleach to water solution (1 quart of bleach per gallon of water) will work well for most tasks and be less harmful to the environment. Make sure that you cover any plants which may be in the area you plan to spray. For sanitizing food contact surfaces, the recommended concentration would be 1 tablespoon of bleach per gallon of water. For disinfecting countertops, sinks, toilets, etc the recommended concentration would be 2.5 ounces of bleach per gallon of water.
Keep in mind that spraying bleach solutions will dry out any type of seals over time, causing them to curl and crack. For this reason, we suggest a periodic rinsing with a mild solution of dish detergent and water sprayed through the entire system. This simple procedure will rinse off any chemical residue from the internal seals of your sprayer and keep the seals in new condition for years of trouble free service.
